Story
With Turning Tide, Oathbound Hearts deliver an epic concept album about war, love, and the one decision that changes everything.
At its center are Eirik and Lyra — once enemies, bound by their oaths and trapped between duty and feeling. What begins as a collision grows into a bond stronger than the conflict around them. Yet the closer they become, the more unavoidable the question becomes: do they keep fighting for their world, or for each other?
Between brutal battles and quiet, intense moments, a story unfolds that lives not only through outward struggle, but through inward decisions. The title track Turning Tide marks the moment when everything shifts — and nothing remains as it was before.
In the finale One Last Dawn, everything is at stake: sacrifice, hope, and the courage to choose your own path. The outro brings the story to a quiet close — as an echo of what remains after the storm has passed.
